48è FÊTE DE LA VIELLE

For nearly 50 years, this event has been a not-to-be-missed feature of summer in the Morvan, with three days and nights of festivities in Anost. Every year, traditional music from near and far brings together thousands of festival-goers in the "Fête de la Vielle spirit" of exchange, sharing and celebration!

This event welcomes a host of artists for concerts, workshops and dances, as well as open stages, introductions to traditional dances, hurdy-gurdy workshops (beginners and advanced), bagpipe workshops, conferences, shows, bourrée workshops and Morvan couple dances, young talent competitions, luthiers' market and the festival 'off' with 'beufs' in the village streets!

MUMM looks forward to seeing you on 22, 23 and 24 August 2025 in Anost, a small village in the Haut Morvan, for this not-to-be-missed summer event featuring balls, concerts, dance and instrument courses and workshops, master classes, film concerts, shows, workshops for youngsters with Récréa Vielle, a stringed-instrument makers' market, aperitif concerts and an open stage .... Join us this summer for a festival of traditional music in the heart of the Morvan!
