Irma in solo concert!

Buoyed by the House of Cards phenomenon (viewed over 15 million times in just a few days), Irma will be in concert on 27 June at the Lanterne Magique in Beaune.

Irma Pany was born in Douala, Cameroon, in 1990. She began learning classical piano at the age of 7, before discovering the guitar. Her major influences are Michael Jackson and Ben Harper. At the age of 15, she moved to Paris and embarked on a preparatory course for the HEC business school, which she passed with flying colours. But the young girl preferred to work on her songs, which she composed alone in her bedroom and then sang at performances in the capital. When she was hired to support Diam's, M, Tété and Amel Bent, luck smiled on her and she attracted an ever-growing audience.

On 28 February 2011, she released the single 'I Know', which was a huge hit. It may sound like a cross between Ayo, Tracy Chapman and Lauryn Hill, but the charm of her soulful voice and folk melodies has won her many fans. She has returned to her first love: unstoppable, addictive acoustic folk, carried by her soft, warm voice.
