Concert et Après-concert - soirée exceptionnelle : Ensemble CHANTEGREVE

Since 2011, the CEMB has welcomed a group that is always different in terms of its composition and repertoire, offering a variety of musical programmes through song and instruments. To do this, it relies on two essential and complementary principles: artistic excellence and access to what is known as "great music" for a very wide audience that is often far from it.

This autumn rendezvous continues to be a special event, combining a high-quality musical programme worthy of the CEMB's expertise with a rare moment of conviviality in a setting steeped in history.

Book your evening on Saturday 04 October 2025 to attend the exceptional concert by the CHANTEGREVE ensemble in the Salle des Pôvres at the Hospices de Beaune, and extend it in the Chambre du Roy, in the company of the artists, while enjoying wine and champagne accompanied by gourmet snacks, savoury and sweet, prepared by Jérôme Jacob (Bar'Batube in Vignoles and Nuits Saint Georges).

- The Solo Concert at the Salle des Pôvres with the Ensemble CHANTEGREVE :

During the concert, you'll hear pieces by Handel, Bach, Strozzi, Bembo, Thomas and Leonarda.

The ensemble is made up of internationally renowned artists:
- Hélène Walter, soprano: a professional opera singer trained at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne, she performs in Switzerland, France and throughout Europe.
- David Walter, oboe: a graduate of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, he has won international acclaim with 5 awards in major competitions. His solo career has taken him to all five continents.
- Vérène Westphal, cello: she studied at the CNSMD in Lyon and at Sibelius Akademia (Finland). She has performed with the Opéra de Lyon (John Eliot Gardiner) and with Les Musiciens du Louvre, La Grande Ecurie et la Chambre du Roy, le Concert spirituel, the Maîtrise du Centre de musique baroque de Versailles, etc.
- Johan Treichel, harpsichord: a keen chamber music and ensemble player, he is notably pianist with the Ensemble Symphonique de Neuchâtel and a member of the electronic music duo. He is also organist at the collegiate church of Saint-Imier in the Bernese Jura.

No tickets available on the day.

Important: the doors of the Hôtel Dieu will be closed at 8.30pm when the concert begins.

Come and enjoy the concert and stay under the spell of the music.
You can meet the artists and talk to them about the programme they have presented. You'll also be able to spend a long, convivial moment enjoying quality drinks and savouring gourmet bites, both sweet and savoury, prepared by Jérôme Jacob (Bar'Batube, in Vignoles and Nuits-St-Georges).

The event will begin immediately after the concert. Those with the special card given to them at reception will go directly to the first floor, to the historic room where King Louis XIV was welcomed in 1658.

Registration is compulsory and must be completed at the same time and in the same way as for the concert itself.

- Tickets are numbered and can be collected from reception just before the concert.
- When you buy your ticket, you must give your address and e-mail address (or your address and telephone number): in the event of an emergency, the CEMB must be able to contact you as quickly as possible.
- Children and teenagers must be accompanied.
- Tickets cannot be returned or exchanged.
- You can print out your ticket or present your e-ticket on your smartphone on the day of the concert, at reception, to gain access to the concert.
You will receive your numbered tickets for the Salle des Pôvres just before the concert, as well as the card giving you access to the Chambre du Roy after checking at the bottom of the stairs if you have booked the post-concert cocktail.
