Conférence d'artiste : Carolina Fonseca – artiste plasticienne

Born in Colombia in 1987, Carolina Fonseca lives and works in Besançon. She will be graduating in 2019 with a DNSEP in Art from the Ecole Supérieure d'Art de Lorraine (Metz), with congratulations from the jury.

"Drawing is at the heart of my practice, through which I awaken sculptural, architectural and landscape forms. The use of volume gives continuity to the creative process, allowing me to develop worlds in which techniques blend together. I reflect on the relationship with others, whether human or non-human, living or dead, and the close link that implies with the environment. By imagining different ways of relating, I'm evoking a new economy, a different way of caring, a different way of understanding the territory and a respect for multiple temporalities."
