The church of St. John the Baptist is Romanesque. Built in the 12th century, the church consisted of a choir, side chapels and a nave covered by a large floor. The windows that light the nave are typical of the 12th century, very wide on the inside and very narrow on the outside. 16th century: Replacement of the south entrance door.
19th century (1833): The present vaults replace the wooden floor which was falling into disrepair. They are plastered wooden barrel vaults supported by wooden...The church of St. John the Baptist is Romanesque. 19th century (1833): The present vaults replace the wooden floor which was falling into disrepair. They are plastered wooden barrel vaults supported by wooden pillars covered with plaster which divide the church into three naves.
1850: New sacristy erected on the south side. The old sacristy on the north side was opened and transformed into an exterior church-chapel.
1965-1970: Plaster is removed from the walls, choir, chapels and pillars.
1997-2001: Waterproofing of the building (bell tower roof, choir and chapels) - Repair of the interior (plasterwork, ceilings, floor tiles, heating) - Refurbishment of the façade - repair of the bell.
