The small church of Saisy, which is significantly influenced by the style of the cathedral of Autun, dates back to the beginning of the 12th century. The Romanesque part is essentially the transept under the bell tower and the apse. The bell tower has twin bays with columns and foliated capitals as well as sculpted corbels. Inside, the broken vaults and fluted pilasters typical of the region can be seen. The transept has a pointed barrel vault resting on four pointed arches and two square pillars with pilasters and engaged columns. The transept is vaulted with half-barrels. The apse, covered with shingles on the outside, has five arcatures on fluted pilasters on the inside. The capitals are sculpted with plant decorations and simple geometrical figures: water leaves, rosettes and a cross. The ceilinged nave, which has been extensively altered, still has a Gothic tombstone. Its ancient portal still has fluted pilasters.
