En montant à Dône

Leave the village square at the top and turn right at the crossroads; opposite the entrance gate to the château,
Turn left onto the main road towards Saint-Didier. Turn left onto the track after the pond, then right shortly afterwards. Continue until you come to a crossroads where you turn left. Continue along a pond until you reach the route de Souve.
Turn right once, then right again at the crossroads with a large corner house (signposted Les Jouleaux, possible alternative). Just before the house with the turret, turn right and then right again a little further on.
At the fork, take the left-hand branch, walk alongside a copse and turn right. When you reach the Moulin Jouleau, fork left at the ornamental pond. Continue straight on, passing behind the Develay farm and coming out onto the Saint Didier road at Bois Clair. Follow the tarmac track to the main road, turn left and follow it to the first junction on the right.
Head towards Bois Droits-les Menauts and turn left just before the last farm. At the bottom
of this track, turn right again, passing farm buildings and going up the small tarmac road (château grounds on the left). Go straight ahead at the entrance gate and return to the village square.
Alternative route:
Continue on to Patigny and Mont Dône (3 km). In Patigny, turn left. At the third crossroads, turn right and continue along the main road to Mont Dône.
