As every year, the Fleurs de Jazz 2025 season will end with a concert at the summit of Mont Beuvray during the Bibracte Fantastic Picnic on Saturday 14 September at 1pm with the BABZ quartet led by Jean-Claude André. This group draws on a variety of cultures (Balkans, Africa, Latin America, etc.) for a dynamic and poetic musical journey.
This concert is organised in partnership with Bibracte.

The quartet's music, initially based on compositions by the Palatino group (Glenn Ferris, Paolo Fresu, etc.) and François Thuillier, is constantly evolving, incorporating pieces composed or arranged by the group's members.
Different cultures are brought together here. Eastern Europe, Africa and Latin America spring to mind. Styles, modal colours and characteristic rhythms come together, the pulse sometimes slipping away to allow a weightless melody to emerge, but improvisation plays an essential role in this pictorial, dynamic and poetic musical journey...
