A play that unites text and music, body and set, to cry out that love is the strongest.
In a prison, two women share the same cell and the same mad love. But one day, the first is released on parole, leaving the second alone with her despair. Calamity! What's the woman who stays behind going to do? Learn to sing and console herself in Euterpe's arms.

Kae Tempest, one of Britain's leading figures in spoken word, wrote this play about the throes of passion, filled with songs that, for the time they take flight, apply a little balm to the wounds of reality. And it's Dorothée Munyaneza, the great British-Rwandan choreographer, who will be staging this interdisciplinary show, bringing together four female performers from the four corners of the world and bringing together on stage three opposing spaces: the prison world with its monotony, the outside world with its dreams of freedom but also its pitfalls, and the inner life of the poor prisoner. As poignant as it is pugnacious, this musical tragedy will leave no one in the mood for a good time...
