Jaffelin

wine-tasting cellar, merchants, Wines in Beaune
  • The Maison Jaffelin was founded in 1816 and is today considered to be the smallest of the great Bourgogne wine houses. Jaffelin’s wines are vinified and aged in the historical center of Beaune in the prestigious 12th-century cellars of the Chapitre de Notre Dame. The use of artisanal equipment such as a vertical press and oval wooden vats allow Marinette Garnier, Jaffelin’s winemaker, to produce hand-stitched cuvées.
