Everyone knows that water is a chemical substance made up of one molecule of oxygen and two molecules of hydrogen. But who can tell the melody of the running stream, the rhythm of the rain on the surface of a window, the perfection of the circles in the setting of a pond or the changing reflections of the sky in the mirror of a pond? The Mercimonchou Company (you're welcome).

Here, multidisciplinary artists plunge fully clothed into liquid matter to pay tribute to its movement, translucence and metamorphoses. In a series of dreamlike tableaux, two washerwomen sing the praises of the watery element by manipulating puppets and dancing to music that imitates the murmur of a spring or the cry of a torrent. At the confluence of the optical and choreographic arts, between digital illusions and augmented reality, this Dignité des gouttelettes ultimately offers the child you have and the child you have remained a total immersion - so to speak - in the most fluid of reveries...
