The Karadok'Inn Spa is a cottage completely lost in the middle of the meadows for 4 or 6 people, a promise of nature and calm.
Aline welcomes you to this renovated old house, which has a veranda, 2 or 3 bedrooms (the first with a queen-size bed, the second with two single beds that can be joined together to make a queen-size bed, and the third with a sofa bed), a kitchen that opens onto the living room (dining room and TV/sofa area), a shower room and a separate room that doubles as an...The Karadok'Inn Spa is a cottage completely lost in the middle of the meadows for 4 or 6 people, a promise of nature and calm.
Aline welcomes you to this renovated old house, which has a veranda, 2 or 3 bedrooms (the first with a queen-size bed, the second with two single beds that can be joined together to make a queen-size bed, and the third with a sofa bed), a kitchen that opens onto the living room (dining room and TV/sofa area), a shower room and a separate room that doubles as an office/library or 3rd bedroom.
The house is ideal for relaxing with family or friends. The veranda is the perfect place to wake up in the morning with a cup of coffee and a view of the Morvan, or to enjoy the warmth of the countryside in winter. All year round, you can use the sheltered outdoor spa to relax while admiring the scenery... You can "disconnect" by reading (the library has novels, comics, books on nature... there's something for everyone), or by playing board games. You can also stay connected thanks to the fibre, and watch an old film (DVD collection). In summer, you can enjoy the coolness of the sheltered terrace, where you can share a barbecue, make the most of the covered petanque court or just relax in the garden armchairs. In the evening, the stars come out to put on a show.
As soon as you go through the gate, you're in the Morvan, and more specifically on the grounds of the Grand Karadok farm. It's here that Yann Ginolin breeds Angus cows, Aubracs with eye make-up and pretty Japanese Wagyu cattle (the Kobe breed of beef). This gastronomy enthusiast has selected these breeds, renowned for their gastronomic qualities, to make the most of the Morvan pastures. Product presentations and farm visits by appointment.
Around the accommodation, you can go for short or long walks or, for the more sporty, mountain bike rides (you can join the footpaths to Autun or Le Rocher d'Uchon).
The house is also ideally situated for visiting our beautiful region and its cultural treasures: in Mesvres, you can enjoy the Romanesque church, the priory of Saint Martin dating from 843 and also the two vaulted bridges, known as "Mme De Sévignez". You can discover Autun (12 km), with its Gallo-Roman remains, cathedral and museums, or Bibracte, the Gallic village (20 km). There are plenty of sights to see, such as the Temple of a Thousand Buddhas (20km), or the town of Creusot with its Mining Museum, Villa Perusson and Château de la Verrerie (20km)...
For the entertainment of young and old alike, there are a number of activities less than 20km away (city-game, bowling, laser-game, municipal swimming pools, etc.), as well as the Combes amusement park. The Arroux is also a great place to relax (fishing, canoeing, etc.). There are many vineyards to discover, as well as the Morvan and the "nature" events organised by the Maison du Parc.
In the village of Mesvres, you'll find a bakery, tobacconist, restaurant, pharmacy, wine cellar, doctor and nurse.
In the village of Etang-sur-Arroux, 5 km away, you'll find a Carrefour Market, restaurants, bakery, florist, Gamm vert, etc.
In the town of Autun, 12 km away, you'll find Leclerc, Intermarché, Bi1, Lidl, etc.
