Take a seat in the delightful little Italian-style theatre, in front of the period stage sets, ready to be reborn two centuries later, in the 21st century!
Selected texts by writers almost all of whom were contemporaries of the creators of the little theatre, Charles-Marie de Mac-Mahon and his wife Henriette Le Peletier de Rosanbo, will be read to you by the improvised company of the "Friends of Château de Sully".

Everyone knows Colette by now, especially since the celebrations marking the 70th anniversary of her death in 2024 and the 170th anniversary of her birth in 2023!
Alphonse de Lamartine, the country gentleman and Romantic poet, deserves to be rescued from oblivion.
Georges Sand may have visited the Château de Sully in Burgundy. And why not?
Marivaux, so famous for his "marivaudage", may have been played on the Sully stage, who knows?
As for Alice Poulleau de Nolay, an extraordinary 20th-century writer, she relates so well the 'facts' and gestures of our region.
And last but not least, a very contemporary author from our region, André Beuchot, will tell us, in person, a story specially written for the occasion!

All accompanied by the music of cellist Evelyne Peudon.

The settings of the forest, the farmhouse kitchen and the mysterious boudoir will awaken from a long sleep, before returning to their youthful colours.
