Les méritants

A horde of zombies rip to shreds the foggy dogma of equal opportunities.

A pandemic has turned a large part of humanity into the living dead (but the living dead are very nice and rather accommodating), and the survivors are trying to reorganise the 'after' society on an entirely new basis.

The problem is that, under the guise of good old-fashioned progressive sentiments (such as inclusion and benevolence) and without even realising it, they are simply reproducing one by one all the pitfalls of the 'old world' (such as the exploitation of the weakest by the strongest and the rewarding of merit alone). That, in a nutshell, is the subject of Les Méritants. A sociological pensum, then? Not at all. Set against an inventive backdrop that's tailor-made for this post-apocalyptic fable, seven actors deliver this vehement satire of the failings of our capitalist model with madcap energy, churning out chiselled dialogue and a succession of funny situations. Part zany comedy, part horror film, these Méritants deconstruct the games of domination that govern us - without Karl Marx, but to general hilarity...
