So that's the aim of this invigorating Styx and Brahmaputra: given that we're all stuck on the same boat, we might as well set off together to face the turbulence and turmoil of the river of the Underworld so that one day, perhaps, we can reach the clear, peaceful waters of the Ganges' tributary. Throughout this cruise populated by mythological characters and marine animals, with each port of call punctuated by funny rituals and clever debates with the audience, the two actresses who proudly steer this raft will often resort to the artisanal practices of manipulating objects, shadow theatre and other knick-knacks.
